Character Analysis Of Spongebob Squarepants

SpongeBob Squarepants was my choice for the essay. SpongeBob is outgoing, positive and well-dressed. He lives with Gary, his pet snail. Squidward Tentacles and Patrick Star are his best friends. Squidward and Mr. Krabs are his fry cooks at Krusty Krab. Stephen Hillenburg created him and Tom Kenny plays him. His creator was a scientist teacher and marine biologist.

SpongeBob’s personality is positive, friendly, and loyal. His character was based off Charlie Chaplin and Jerry Lewis. He is very gullible, making many adults and children laugh with the jokes he has made over the years. This isn’t your everyday darkness. This is…ADVANCED dark! “Rock Bottom” was the thirty-fifth episode. This was one of many funny lines on the show’s first year. It is also a strange line. SpongeBob’s other traits include his hard work, kindness, and selflessness. He is punctual and loves his job. Although he is not a good driver, he continues to be in drivers’ education and takes his test whenever he can. Mrs. stated that 600 was needed to pass and you only got 6. Puff to SpongeBob is a terrible driver in the 17th episode of season 2. Even though he can drive a big car and a sandwich truck like he’s done for years, he still drives a terrible driver. Squidward is one of his best qualities. He never harbors grudges. Squidward is rude to SpongeBob and can be mean, but that doesn’t stop him being so kind. He is also very sweet when he visits his grandma. He shows his love for her by giving her lots of kisses and hugs. Although he only goes to visit her for the cookies, he still shows his grandma that he cares.

SpongeBob has a lot of innocence and enjoys having fun. Patrick and SpongeBob enjoy jellyfishing together during their off-work days. They enjoy visiting Sandy’s home, even if it means they are annoying her. O’Reilly was his jellyfishing net. Sometimes he can be very random and say the most random things, even though they may not make sense. “Remember, you can’t lick doorknobs on other Planets.” SpongeBob was speaking in flashback as Mr. Krabs. This episode was the 46th of season 3.

He is also sensitive and can be emotional. One word can make him cry. He cried so hard that he had to make a sweater from his tears. This episode was called “Dying for Pie” in season 2. Squidward and Spongebob were delivering pizzas to customers in season 1. Episode 5. This episode, Spongebob was extremely emotional. SpongeBob was so annoyed by the man’s rudeness that he returned to Squidward’s place to deliver the pizza, SpongeBob was shaken so much he tried to stop crying. He still burst into tears even though it didn’t go according to plan. His insensitivity and inability to take being yelled upon well shows that he is sensitive. SpongeBob has a lot of emotions, including sadness and happiness. However, he can also be extremely random and stupid.
